About the event
Join us for Persephone Awakens: A Womb Workshop on February 1st in honor of Imbolc, the day when the fertility of spring begins to awaken from her winter’s sleep.
We will be clearing, activating and nourishing the womb, together as women in circle.
In this workshop you will be guided through the elements of the womb in order to understand her deeper.
You will be guided through drum journey, womb meditations, ritual, and self-care practices, with the opportunity to connect deeper to your womb, and also receive practices you can take home with you and continue yourself.
There will also be a sharing circle at the end of the workshop.
There will be snacks and tea.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING: *Something small to give as an offering in a ritual (could be a drop of essential oil, a leaf from a tree, sand from the beach, etc) *A pen and journal *A small glass jar (if you have) *Sheep skin or something extra cozy to sit on (if you have). *Cash for payment, we will only be taking cash.
This workshop is open to all women, no matter how much or how little experience she has connecting to her womb.
This workshop will be hosted by Felicia Sokol and Kiki Meyer, both birth keepers, and womb weavers. Jeska Onderwater will contribute musically to the circle.
Felicia’s bio: Felicia is a doula, birth keeper, mizan therapist, midwitch, childbirth educator, wombworker, podcaster, astrologer, artist, and nomad-adventurer.
She is also the host of Wisdom Weavers Podcast.
She's from NYC but has lived in Europe the last few years, and now lives in Denmark, but is currently in Amsterdam for a birth. Birth keeping has led the way.
She currently serves as an advisor for the upcoming and revolutionary Indie Birth Sanctuary.
She's supported dozens of births and birthing women + their partners + their families. She has also supported people dealing with loss, and believes the line between birth and death is quite thin. Both must be honored. No matter what she does in this world, the form may change, but the essence is the same, to self-realize and to be of service to women, children, humanity and to this planet.
Kiki's bio: Kiki is a shamanic birth and end life doula, sister, mother to many, an Integral Pelvic Therapy practitioner, a Birth Story Listener, a friend and eArthist. Her presence opens up a space to sink deeper into presence yourself and soften towards what presents itself in the here and now. By listening with the whole of her being, ancient voices of remembrance arise. Her light, soft, yet strong and grounded presence invites you to feel the silent touch of your own wholeness. She is a weaver of the worlds of life, death and everything in between. Walking besides you as you find your way home through the labyrinth of life ...
Contribution: 55 euro - please bring cash.
